How to Use Didrex

Didrex is a diet pill containing 50 mg of Benzphetanine hydrochloride as its active ingredient. The pill basically suppresses your appetite, which is very important, especially on the first few days of starting a new diet. This is where a little help, in the form of this pill can help you jumpstart that diet you’ve always been planning about, but fail after the first few days. Why? Because the first few days is when your hunger is at its fiercest, and sometimes willpower is just not enough to get you through it. Not only does it suppress your hunger pangs, it also boosts your body’s capacity to burn those calories. Here are some tips on how to maximize the benefits when taking this diet pill.

1. Always consult a physician first before you start any diet plan, especially if you plan to take any diet pill for that matter, like Didrex. You need a qualified medical practitioner to compute the right amount for your body weight, in order to get the best results, plus you will need to tell the physician if you have any medical condition that might adversely react when taking Didrex. Your health care provider will be the only one who can help you decide if Didrex is right for you.

2. Always take Didrex according to your Doctor’s prescription. To get the best effect of this pill, it is best taken 30 minutes before your meal – be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, on an empty stomach. The pill is gentle enough on an empty stomach. Just take it with a glass of water, and wait until the prescribed time has passed, before you have your meal.

3. Take Didrex at the same time every day. If you need to set an alarm to remind you that you need to take your pill, go do it. This diet pill works best when taken at the same time every day and since we want to lose the weight, we have to go the extra mile by reminding ourselves not to miss taking it, and taking it at the same time, every time. But please do not take more than the prescribed dosage to make up for missed one.

4. Take note of any side effects, and address them. It would be very helpful if you have a diet diary, where you can write down any of your body’s reaction to Didrex, so it will be an easier consultation when you see your doctor for a checkup, as you have all the side effects written down. Should you feel your stomach getting upset when you take the pill on an empty stomach, take some crackers, or a small piece of bread, before taking the pill. If you feel wide awake at the end of the day, take the last pill a little earlier then. And of course, drink a lot of water so as not to feel dehydrated, if you notice that you are thirsty quite often. It’s all a matter of listening to your body, and adjusting to its reactions, so as to make this diet a success.

5. See your doctor regularly. Your doctor needs to see you on a regular basis to see how you are doing when you are on Didrex. He might need to adjust the dosage, or supervise your meal intake, or see if you are fit to start exercising. Since this pill is not to be taken forever, your doctor will be able to tell you when it is time to get off the drug, and also help you get weaned off from it, without the adverse side effects.

6. Get off the pill when your doctor tells you to. Like what was mentioned earlier, Didrex is not to be taken forever, and serious side effects may occur if taken for a prolonged period of time. Once your doctor feels you are to stop taking Didrex, you have to follow his instructions and do so.
